"We love partnering with New Earth Farm. All of their staff is so friendly on pickup days. They are punctual, like clockwork we see them—same time, same day, every week. They go above and beyond, supplying compost bags with clips to keep them in place & rinse out our bin every pickup. We never have pest/smell issues with our compost bin. We couldn't ask for a better sustainable business to use and partner with."

FAQS

How much does commercial composting cost? Pricing is custom-quoted based on your volume and pickup frequency—reach out and we'll put together a plan.

What can you take? Almost anything from a commercial kitchen—food scraps, prep waste, meat, dairy, coffee grounds, sauces, and more.

Do you serve my area? We haul across St. Louis City, St. Louis County, into Metro East Illinois (Edwardsville, Collinsville, Glen Carbon), and out to St. Charles. Somewhere else? Just ask!

Is there a contract? No. Service is month-to-month, and small businesses can start with a free trial before committing.

Can I get diversion reports for sustainability goals? Yes. Your diversion stats are always updated in real time in the customer portal or available via email upon request.

Do you keep the bins clean? Yes! We typically line the bins with compostable liners and rinse them out as needed to keep your bin from being a nuisance. It will be much cleaner than your dumpster!!

Is composting cheaper than trash service? Not necessarily. Composting is an added service on top of your trash, and we won't pretend otherwise. What you're paying for is to do the right thing—keeping a resource out of the landfill. We think you’ll find it’s worth it, though! You get diversion numbers your customers and employees can see, participation in a local sustainability story, and a program your staff and patrons can be proud of. We’ll even give you a fun sticker for your front door! For businesses like Coffeestamp, 46,569 pounds diverted is part of how they are doing good in their community.

If your current dumpster situation is mostly food waste, you might be able to save money by switching to fewer dumpsters after moving all the compostable “trash” to our green bins!

Will our staff actually keep it sorted? That's our job to make easy. We provide simple signage and a quick staff walkthrough at setup, and our drivers flag contamination early so small issues never become habits. Most kitchens are running smoothly within the first week.

What happens to our food waste? It's composted right here in St. Louis at our own site. Want to see it? We love showing partners where their scraps end up; just ask for a tour! Businesses can even get finished compost back for planters, gardens, or customer giveaways.
